1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using FillFox ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. FillFox is operated by Frequency AI Ltd, trading as Cashew Crate.

2. Service Description

FillFox is a browser-based PDF form filler and annotation tool. All PDF processing occurs entirely within your web browser. No files are uploaded to our servers.

3. Privacy & Data Processing

All PDF files and document data are processed locally in your browser using JavaScript. We do not upload, store, transmit, or have access to any documents you process with FillFox. Your files never leave your device.

4. Electronic Signatures

FillFox provides electronic signature capability for everyday documents. Signatures created with FillFox may not meet certain legal standards requiring certified digital signatures (e.g., PKI-based qualified electronic signatures). Users are responsible for determining whether an electronic signature is appropriate and legally sufficient for their specific use case and jurisdiction.

5. Free and Pro Tiers

FillFox offers a free tier with limited daily exports and a Pro tier ($5/month) with unlimited usage. Free tier limits may be adjusted at our discretion. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time.

6. Payments & Refunds

Pro subscriptions are processed through Polar. By subscribing, you agree to Polar's payment terms. For refunds, email support@cashewcrate.com with your order number and a description of the issue.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use FillFox for any unlawful purpose, to forge or fraudulently alter documents, or to infringe upon the rights of others.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

FillFox is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that PDF processing will produce perfect results in all cases.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frequency AI Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of FillFox.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
